Trong, originally born in Vietnam, has resided in Denmark for nearly four decades and holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business. Trong is working at the Danish Customs Agency with non-control-related assignments.

Besides his work, Trong pursues one of his great passions as a Vietnam consultant, where he wants to foster bilateral trade relationships between Vietnam and Denmark. This includes assisting Danish companies seeking trade promotion or investment opportunities in Vietnam, as well as aiding Vietnamese companies interested in the Danish market.

Drawing on his extensive experiences, Trong possesses in-depth knowledge of Vietnam, thanks to his bilingual cultural background and past assignments such as a commercial trainee at the Danish Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. His responsibilities included organizing Danish days in Vietnam, facilitating company matchmaking between Danish and Vietnamese businesses, collecting market information for publications by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and handling various commercial tasks. Trong also gained international experience as a stationed employee in Thailand, where he was responsible for market development for Vietnam.

Trong follows closely the development of Vietnam through different kinds of mass media as well as his regular visits to the country. Trong is therefore quite updated about Vietnam.

For Danish companies, Trong can serve as a sparring partner, cultural advisor, or provide a second opinion, depending on your business objectives, level of knowledge, and expected involvement in Vietnam. Regarding his knowledge of Denmark, Trong has followed the Danish education system from secondary school and has more than two decades of working experience in the Danish labor market. This knowledge is beneficial for Vietnamese companies exploring business or investment opportunities in Denmark.
